The Rubik’s Cube
The Rubiks Cube is a fortnightly hip-hop, funk and drum and bass club-night
held in Swansea on Saturdays run by Christians. Our values are excellence, unity,
community and charity and hopefully these are evident at our nights. We believe
in valuing and respecting people and giving people value for money. We have
been running for one and half years and have had guests that have included Grooverider,
(Radio 1) High Contrast, London Elektricity, the EZ Rollerz and SUV. We also
always give out free fruit and sweets at our parties.
The Rubiks Cube gives away profits from every night to different charities and
we wanted to support The Big Issue Cymru because of its work with people who
are homeless and socially excluded. The Big Issue Cymru also represents an alternative
media and gives homeless people an opportunity to express themselves.
